RULA design, manufacture and supply fans for a wide range of Bulk Materials handling applications
Description A centrifugal fan is a mechanical device for moving air. Centrifugal fans are constant displacement devices or constant volume devices, meaning that, at a constant fan speed, a centrifugal fan moves a relatively constant volume of air rather than a constant mass. This means that the air velocity in a system is fixed even though the mass flow rate through the fan is not. Typical application Rula manufactures several different types of Fan Units: - Bag filters - Aeration air - HVAC systems Design features - Sturdy, quiet, reliable, and capable of operating over a wide range of conditions - Cheaper than axial fans - Simpler in construction Material of construction specifications - Fan housing: SANS 50025 Grade S 355 JR - Impeller: SANS 50025 Grade S 355 JR - Inlet and outlet ducts: SANS 50025 Grade S 355 JR - Drive shaft and bearing sets: EN8 - Drive mechanism: Direct or belt driven Electric motor - OR as per client requirements and specifications. Sizes - Fans are purpose made in any size and shape to fit plant requirements - Drilling arrangement to suit plant interface Operating & Maintenance - The fan system are Operator and Maintenance friendly - A complete Operating & Maintenance manual is available
