Medupi Power Station coal overland conveyors
The system included the following conveyors: • Coal Overland Conveyor 1: 4.2km at 4000t/h • Coal Overland Conveyor 2: 1.2km at 4000t/h • 2 Under silo feeders of 4000t/h each The structural scope included the design and construction of all conveyor support structures, access walkways and staircases, and transfer houses. The roads scope included the design and construction of road modifications to suit new conveyor-fence intersection culvert The storm water drainage scope included the design and construction of coal sumps 1 and 2, and the 10,000T silo silt trap.
