Van Eck Power Station Dust Handling Plant.
Fly ash collected at the units is conveyed pneumatically using pressure vessels and pipes to the common storage and conditioning plant. This is for 2 x 55MW boiler unit with a pneumatic conveying capacity of approx. 10t/h/unit. The conveying distance is approx. 70m. The flyash is stored in either of two silos at this plant and conditioned (mixed with water) on demand and loaded into road vehicles for further disposal.
