Sugözü Power Plant Ash Handling System
The scope consists of pneumatic conveying systems for the Bottom ash and ESP ash for 6 boiler units. Pressure vessels and pneumatic conveying pipes are used to convey ash to one of four ash silos. Each silo has an aeration system, which assists with the extraction of the material from the silo. Each silo is equipped with a dry truck loading chute to load the ash in the silo into a road tanker. In addition to the loading chute each silo is equipped with an ash conditioner to mix the ash with water before it is discharged onto a conveyor belt.
