Flow control Valves

Description

The function of the RULA Flow Control Valve is to provide a controlled material discharge for silo and bin discharge spouts.

The material flow is controlled by a V or Bell shape cut out on the rotating drum.

The RULA Flow Control Valve is normally used in conjunction with the RULA Knife Gate Valve upstream for the isolation of the discharge system.

Types of actuation

The valve is pneumatically actuated, electric motor actuated or hand operated

Design Features

Fully adjustable to regulate the flow of material

Aeration chamber incorporated into the design to improve material flow

A relatively simple and very robust design with minimal movable parts

Externally mounted bearings and seals to avoid ingress of material

Valve parts exposed to the material flow are wear resistant / hard chromed and hard faced

An adjustable mechanical stop and Proximity switches (for Open / Close limits)

Fitted with a Positioner for accurate flow control

Fitted with a Potentiometer for electronic feedback to downstream applications
