Stackers are bulk material handling machines used to efficiently store or stack materials in large volumes in stockyards and storage facilities. Commonly used in industries including mining, power generation, and port operations, stackers are designed to create organised piles of material, optimizing storage space and facilitating inventory management.
Rula designs, fabricates, and supplies stackers that can accommodate a range of process capacities with feeding conveyor systems to cover the following capacity range:
Rula stackers are completely custom designed to our client's requirements and constraints, including:
Rula stackers can be fixed mounted, rail-mounted, or crawler-mounted. Fixed stackers are fed by a conveyor system into a feed chute on the tail end of the stacker. Rail-mounted travelling stackers are fed by means of a tripper car running on the same rails as the stacker, onto the tail end of the boom conveyor. Crawler-mounted stackers move on crawler tracks adjacent to the conveying system. These are fed by means of a link conveyor onto the tail end of the boom conveyor.
The stacker boom design can be of the slewing, luffing, or slewing and luffing type with a fixed boom length, depending on the stockyard layout and client requirements. Adjustable slewing and luffing capabilities provide the client with the flexibility to adjust the pile height and reach, enabling controlled stacking in various formations, including Windrow, Cone, and Chevron style as per blending requirements, if so required.
By automating material storage, stacker systems improve operational efficiency, reduce manual handling, and facilitate consistent material flow for further processing and transport.
