The purpose of the RULA Cone Valves are to provide a single solution to both the filling and discharge of material into and out of Pressure Vessels. RULA manufactures two different types of Cone valves, one filling valve and a discharge valve.
Types of Actuation
- Pneumatically actuated
- Electric motor actuated
Design Features
- Totally enclosed solid seal arrangement
- Seal is protected and out of the material flow stream
- Relatively simple, robust and cost effective design compared to other similar valves with minimal movable parts
- Downstream pressure assists in closing the valve seal
- The valve is most suited for filling and discharge where the gravity flow of fine product minerals takes place at a relatively low speed
Material Specifications
- Valve body: SANS 50025 Grade S 355 JR or Stainless Steel
- Cone: EN 8 or Stainless Steel
- Seal: Nitrile, Viton and silicone (Temperature range up to 200 C)
- OR as per client requirements and specifications.
