Supply of a comprehensive material handling solution for the Reunion Le Gol Power Plant for CDF Ingénierie — coal, bagasse and clinker handling systems including conveyors, transfer structures, screening, crushing, storage and feeding systems.
RULA was involved in the supply of a comprehensive material handling solution for the Reunion Le Gol Power Plant. The project incorporated coal, bagasse and clinker handling systems, including conveyors, transfer structures, screening and crushing equipment, storage, feeding systems and associated access structures.
The systems were designed to provide reliable material transfer while incorporating wear protection, dust containment, equipment access, safety devices and integration with the plant control system.
Designed around a 100 t/h conveying capacity, with selected equipment rated up to 120 t/h, incorporating a single-stage vibrating screen and double-roll crusher to reduce coal to the required product size.
Designed around a 90 t/h conveying capacity at 2.0 m/s, modifying the existing boiler feed system to interface with the new installation via an automated adjustable isolation/diverter arrangement.
A dedicated heavy-duty double-deck scraper/slat conveyor, fabricated from carbon steel with wear-resistant components and 3CR12 deck plate, stainless-steel slats and mechanical tensioning, designed for a nominal handling capacity of 20 t/h.
The material handling equipment was supported by an extensive structural steel package.
The conveyor systems incorporated a comprehensive range of operational and safety devices, integrated through locally installed junction boxes to provide plant-level monitoring and control.
RULA engineers integrated coal, bagasse, clinker and similar multi-stream material handling systems.
